Our website is dedicated to all horse brass collectors. You will find a varied selection of genuine horse brasses and harness decorations including martingales, terrets, swingers, facepieces, rosettes and hame plates. We are located in the West Midlands, UK, near to where many early horse brasses were produced. The site is updated regularly so there is always something new to see.

As experienced collectors ourselves you can be assured we have the knowledge to be able to help you build a collection to be proud of. We do post worldwide.

The site aims to give you the chance to add to your own collection. We welcome requests for brasses that you are looking for and we will contact you once the particular brass is found, with no obligation at all to buy.

Many of you will have purchased brasses from us on our ebay pages, saddler1986 and saddlerssun where we have been regular sellers of horse brasses for many years and both have an excellent reputation.

Genuine horse brasses form part of our social history. They were worn on a daily basis by working horses owned by breweries, corporations, railways, privately owned businesses, trades etc. Antique horse brasses possess the quality, age, character and harness wear that later souvenir brasses lack.

On special days, such as May days, Carnivals and shows etc, horse brass decorations came in to their own when splendid colourful displays were seen, owners being very proud to show their horses off.
