About us
As a child I was always interested in horses and would have loved one of my own. I also became fascinated by antiques and remember buying my first antique at the age of nine which was a silver horseshoe, which I still own.
After I married I attended a Boy Scout auction in our village and one lot was a very old horse brass with a name of the maker on the front. I bid and bought it and it took pride of place on my fireplace when I returned home. This was the start of my collecting and as all horse brass collectors will tell you, collecting becomes addictive!! Now thirty five years on I still have my first brass which is very precious to me along with a very large collection. All have their own memories of where I found them.
I am very lucky that my youngest Son, Matt, after listening for years about horse brasses, shares my passion and has an impressive collection of his own.
